For the past seventeen years I have been creating site specific art installations and sculptures on waterways, from chalk fed rivers, New Forest streams, salt marshes, urban canals, and the inshore waters of the Solent and the English Channel, raising awareness about issues affecting water;  pollution, flooding, global warming and plastic marine pollution.

 

The sculptures I create use waste materials which are collected re used, recyled and up cycled.  'Jellytastic' for the Wildlife Trusts used plastic bottles collected by the public and these were transformed into a huge, suspended jellyfish sculpture which toured round the English South coast  during Summer 2014.

'Lefkaxit'  

International Environmental Art Project between Lefkada Greece and Lymington UK, focusing on Plastic Marine Pollution; a Global issue for the two marine based towns.

First 'Lefkaxit' event took place 17/2/19; a Beach Clean around the lagoon Lefkada, see 'Lefkaxit' page for details

Working with the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust for their Secrets of the Solent Project raising awareness about Plastic Marine Pollution.
